Job summary

Base-2 Solutions seeks a Systems Administrator 4 to support the OSINT Integration Center under the DOMEX Technology Platform contract. Focused on Linux and Windows systems administration, performance optimization, and user support, you will ensure high availability and security compliance.

You will build, patch, and maintain server environments, automate using Python/Bash/PowerShell, and manage Kubernetes/Rancher/Helm in air-gapped settings, with domain expertise in DISA STIG and AWS

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain CI Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience in the field.
• Experience in Linux administration (RHEL/CentOS, Ubuntu).
• Experience with patching and virtual server builds.
• Familiarity with Agile and security requirements derivation.
• Strong scripting in Python and Bash.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Experience in air-gapped environments and Privileged User Account certification by Government.

Responsibilities

• Perform Linux and Windows builds, installations, configurations, administration, and troubleshooting.
• Implement DISA STIG compliance across systems and networks.
• Develop and maintain server builds for virtual and physical environments.
• Manage and deploy Kubernetes, Rancher, and Helm.
• Develop scripts for patching, configuration, and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Use Salt and Ansible for infrastructure automation.
• Administer AWS cloud environments including provisioning, monitoring, and optimization.
• Provide service desk coverage on a rotational schedule (6 AM–6 PM, M–F).
