Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation is seeking a Senior System Software Engineer to build the Halos platform. You will work on high-performance edge AI platforms across QNX, Linux, and hypervisor environments, focusing on safety and security of mixed-criticality systems.

You will design and implement BSPs, IO virtualization, drivers, and platform software, while applying formal methods and ISO standards to ensure safety and security in autonomous/industrial robotics contexts.

Qualifications

8+ years in system software architecture for real-time embedded systems.
Strong C and Ada/SPARK programming and debugging skills.
Experience with RTOS and embedded platforms.
Experience using AI-assisted development and formal methods.

Responsibilities

Architect, design, develop, and debug system software for Halos OS on QNX/Linux.
Develop BSP, I/O virtualization, boot, and drivers for mixed-criticality systems.
Ensure software complies with ISO 26262 and ISO 21434 using formal methods.
Bring up and optimize NVIDIA edge platforms with cross-functional teams.
Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate debugging, testing, and reviews.
Design tracing, logging, and performance-analysis solutions.
