NVIDIA GeForce NOW platform is seeking a Senior System Software Engineer to design, develop, and optimize high-performance gaming servers. You will work on Linux kernel, KVM, and platform performance in a cross-functional team.

The role requires 12+ years, advanced degree, expertise in Python/C/C++/Rust, and experience with GPU and CPU scheduling, with opportunities for equity and global impact.

Qualifications

• BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of experience in system software engineering for platform performance.
• Proficiency in Python/C/C++/Rust.
• Experience in performance-critical software and CPU/GPU schedulers.

Responsibilities

• Game Performance optimization, Linux kernel, KVM hypervisor, system software & optimization at scale.
• Understand and apply gaming workloads, streaming software for kernel and user space interactions.
• Bridge the gap between software and hardware for a cloud streaming service.
• Understand and apply factors that influence the performance and stability of a game.
