Job summary

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required due to sensitive customer information.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• 10+ years of related work experience.
• Active Top-Secret security clearance required.
• Experience in systems safety working groups - SSWG, WSESRB, SSSTRP, etc.
• Experience building and communicating a safety case for redesign/risk acceptance.
• Requirements management experience using DOORS and/or CRADL.
• Ability to interface with customer and program management.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate hardware and software ensuring mission success.
• Develop/update PHL, PHA, FHAs, SHA, and SAR.
• Prepare presentations and participate in Design Reviews, Test Readiness Reviews, and safety meetings.
• Support development and updates of System Safety documents for Customer, Range Safety, and contractual requirements.
• Review test procedures for adherence to System Safety requirements.
• Coordinate with test range safety teams and write range safety reports.
• Assist in the Hazard Tracking System (HTS) maintenance for hazards and mitigations.
• Potential to support various software safety activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
