Job summary

Global Edge Group seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to support the Systems Integration and Test team for advanced space systems in Sunnyvale, CA. You will drive end-to-end systems engineering, electrical interface definition, and MBSE-driven test planning in a fast-paced environment.

You will work on modeling/simulation, software-hardware integration, and data analysis using MATLAB, Python, and C/C++. A TS/SCI clearance is required to operate on sensitive programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Programming experience in MATLAB, Python, or a related language.

Job description

We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the Systems Integration and Test team on advanced space systems. This role focuses on end-to-end systems engineering, electrical interface definition, and testability analysis for complex spaceborne architectures. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with modeling and simulation tools, software-hardware integration, data analysis, and model-based systems engineering (MBSE), operating under an active TS/SCI clearance in a fast-paced mission environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Perform system analysis and electrical interface definition using standard electrical engineering and systems tools (e.g., SPICE modeling, Excel macros, MATLAB, Python, C/C++, model-based engineering tools).
• Support development of mission concepts of operations (CONOPS) and end-to-end systems engineering activities.
• Coordinate across multiple organizations to design and develop solutions to complex electrical and systems engineering problems.
• Review, evaluate, and derive requirements for testability, and develop comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for systems and subsystems.
• Direct preparation and execution of system and subsystem tests and support evaluation of test data against requirements.
• Support software-hardware integration and data analysis/processing for integration and test campaigns.

Basic Qualifications
