Job summary

Intelletec in New Jersey is seeking a Senior / Staff Systems Engineer to own end-to-end system architecture across robotics hardware and software, with hybrid work options. The role emphasizes ownership, safety, reliability, validation, and real-world performance in autonomous systems.

You will collaborate across robotics, embedded systems, controls, and manufacturing, drive tradeoffs, perform FMEA and hazard analyses, and lead field testing to ensure robust, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience building complex systems.
• Strong systems architecture and requirements experience.
• Experience validating products in real world or field environments.
• Hands on FMEA, hazard analysis, or safety critical systems experience.
• Technical depth in robotics, embedded, controls, electronics, software, mechatronics, or mechanical systems.
• Strong first principles thinking and high ownership.

We’re partnering with a fast growing robotics company building autonomous systems for real world deployment.

This is a high ownership role focused on system architecture, integration, safety, reliability, and validation across hardware, software, autonomy, and operations.

What You’ll Do
