Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking a Senior System Architect in Denver, CO to provide technical leadership for an Agile program delivering GEOINT capabilities to NGA.

You will own architecture across multiple teams, align with security and interoperability standards, and guide long-range roadmaps. The role requires TS/SCI clearance, a strong background in large-scale distributed systems, and proven experience in SAFe environments.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of systems or software engineering experience with architecture leadership.
  • Experience architecting large-scale, distributed, cloud-native systems.
  • Experience leading architecture across multiple development teams in an Agile or SAFe environment.
  • Strong command of integration patterns, APIs, and data architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Lead system architecture definition and governance across multiple Agile delivery teams.
  • Develop and maintain the program technical roadmap, architectural runway, and enabler backlog.
  • Chair design reviews and architecture boards; adjudicate cross-team technical decisions.
  • Direct analyses of alternatives and technology insertion assessments based on cost, risk, and mission impact.
  • Align program architecture with Government enterprise standards, security requirements, and interoperability mandates.
  • Partner with Product Management and the RTE during PI Planning to sequence architectural work.
  • Mentor architects and technical leads; raise engineering standards across the program.
