Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a Systems Architect to lead pivotal P2V initiatives across our Gas Power portfolio. You will blend strategic systems thinking with hands-on product management to influence safety, quality, delivery, cost, and capacity outcomes.

Analyze data and collaborate across functions to drive informed decisions and lifecycle ownership. The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, 8+ years in related roles, and the ability to communicate complex trade-offs to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in engineering, operations, or product management in power gen or industrial apps.
• Experience applying systems thinking to complex multi-disciplinary challenges.
• Experience developing/applying analytical models or simulation tools to evaluate systems.
• Ability to communicate complex systems-level concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with cross-functional influence.
• Must be able to commute onsite reporting multiple times per quarter.

• Join our Product Management team as a Systems Architect, serving in a key leadership role driving our Pivot to Value (P2V) initiatives
• Combine strategic systems thinking with hands-on product management, directly impacting safety, quality, delivery, cost, and capacity outcomes across our Gas Power portfolio
• Translate complex stakeholder requirements into configurable, value-optimized module and system designs
• Collaborate across functions to drive informed decision-making.
• Own a defined set of modules and systems throughout their full lifecycle
• Analyze data across multiple sources to generate systems-level insights
• Lead strategic make/buy, do/buy, and re-use decisions at the system and module level
• Plan, prepare, and manage productivity initiatives end-to-end
• Stay informed of advancements in power systems engineering and industry trends to improve competitiveness.
• Proactively identify and lead initiatives to enhance systems modeling methodologies
• Lead and/or participate in verification and validation of designs from engineering teams and suppliers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field from an accredited university or college
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in engineering, operations, or product management in power generation or industrial applications
• Demonstrated experience applying systems thinking to complex, multi-disciplinary engineering challenges
• Demonstrated experience developing or applying analytical models or simulation tools to evaluate systems within the context of broader plant-level performance
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex systems-level concepts and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams and influence peers without direct authority
• This person needs to be able to commute for onsite reporting multiple times per quarter.
