Job summary

Tekg1 is seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to lead DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and OpenShift/Kubernetes automation for enterprise IT projects. You will partner across teams to ensure secure, scalable deployments on OpenShift and Docker-based environments.

Ideal candidates have deep hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, and scripting in Python/Bash, with a proven track record in automating complex CI/CD workflows and supporting large deployments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• 8+ years experience in Linux shell scripting.
• 5+ years in application containerization management.

We are looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer with strong technical skills to lead DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and OpenShift/Kubernetes automation for enterprise IT projects.

Job Description

This position functions as lead DevSecOps/Azure DevOps/OpenShift (Kubernetes) engineer responsible for supporting large State of Michigan Department of Health and Human Services Health Services (DHHS) projects. Contributes considerable business and technical knowledge to complex IT projects.

The DevSecOps / OpenShift (Kubernetes) Engineer will provide leadership and direction, mentoring team members to drive organizational maturity. The engineer will also consult with development teams to ensure platform fit is aligned to the business application requirements.

Additionally, expertise in APIs, microservices, containers, and supporting platform technologies is required.
