Job summary

Dover Networks LLC in Colorado is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to support IT system implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance across client/server/storage/network devices. The role includes Tier I and Tier II problem resolution, system configuration, and ongoing operations support.

The candidate should bring fifteen years of SA experience, a technical bachelor’s degree, and the ability to manage complex enterprise IT environments, including UNIX and Windows platforms.

Qualifications

• 15 years' experience as a SA in programs/contracts of similar scope and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is required; 5 years additional SA experience may substitute for a degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
• Provide Tier I (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
• Manage daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
• Assist users in accessing and using IT systems.
• Provide escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
• Support dispatch system and hardware problems and participate in resolution process.
• Configure UNIX and Windows operating systems and install/load OS software.
• Support design of systems, mission architecture and hardware.
• Analyze and resolve complex problems with server hardware, apps and integration.
