Job summary

Assured Information Security, Inc. is seeking a Senior System Administrator for an onsite position in Fort Meade, Maryland. The role includes supporting and maintaining IT systems, managing system infrastructure, and providing technical support. Candidates must have a Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field, 10 years of experience in system administration, and a solid background in Red Hat Linux and VMWare. Qualifications

• 10 years of experience as a System Administrator or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5 years’ experience with Red Hat Linux (RHEL) environment.
• Experience with installing software from YUM repositories, RPM files, or source code.

Responsibilities

• Support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
• Manage daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution.
