IntegraMSP is hiring a Senior System Administrator with MSP experience. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who loves solving complex problems, leading infrastructure projects, and mentoring junior technicians in a fast-paced environment. What You’ll Do
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 / Entra ID, Azure (IaaS/PaaS), Windows Server, Active Directory, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Own Tier 3+ escalations — troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues with urgency and precision.
- Manage and support virtualization platforms (Hyper-V / Azure VM).
- Provide advanced networking and security support: LAN/WAN, ZTNA, VLANs, VPNs, SASE, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and BDR solutions
- Enhance security posture across client environments, including endpoint protection (EDR/XDR/MDR), SIEM platforms, and threat detection/response.
- Lead and collaborate on cloud migrations, server deployments, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Monitor and optimize internal IT systems and RMM/PSA tools (Datto RMM, Autotask); maintain accurate documentation, diagrams, and playbooks.
- Engage with clients directly, including periodic onsite visits up to 1–3 times weekly within a 50-mile DFW radius (reliable transportation required).
- Participate in new client onboardings and projects to technically align environments with IntegraMSP standards.
- Mentor junior and mid-level techs; contribute to process, standards, and playbook improvements.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours escalations and emergency support.
What You Bring
- 5+ years in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment.
- Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, and Active Directory.
- Strong networking background: firewalls, switches, routers, VLANs, VPN configuration.
- Hands-on experience with virtualization (VMware, Citrix, Hyper-V) and BDR platforms.
- Proficiency with scripting (PowerShell, Python, API automation).
- Security-first mindset: EDR/XDR/MDR, SIEM platforms, network segmentation, and modern threat detection/response practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to prioritize, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced, multi-client setting.
- An always be learning new skills attitude.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local client visits.
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Certifications: Microsoft (Azure, Security, M365), VCP, CompTIA (Network+, Security+), or equivalent.
- Familiarity with MSP-specific tools (Datto RMM, Control One, Autotask, RapidFire Tools).
- Experience with SQL, scripting for automation frameworks, and advanced security tooling.
- Automate and script using PowerShell, Python, and API integrations to streamline processes and reduce repetitive tasks.
- Prior experience leading client projects, scoping/estimating, and mentoring team members.
