Job summary

SAIC is seeking an experienced Senior System Administrator to be onsite at Tyndall AFB in Panama City, FL to support the NORAD & USNORTHCOM information technology enterprise. The candidate will serve as the onsite liaison and subject matter expert for enterprise services, with strong skills in virtual environments, Windows Server and desktop administration, and DoD-compliant security posture.

The role requires DoD experience, Top Secret/SCI clearance, and certifications in security and network

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
9+ years of experience in a DoD or similarly regulated environment.
Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
Strong expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy management.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory and Group Policy management.
Manage VMware and Nutanix virtualization technologies.
Implement and maintain security protocols in accordance with DoD standards.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
Document system configurations, procedures, and security policies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system functionality and security.
Represent NITES and NORAD & USNORTHCOM HQ at the site as liaison.
