Job summary

NVIDIA seeks a Senior Synthetic Data Engineer to join the DRIVE team and help design and develop a scalable synthetic data platform for autonomous driving. You will build tools to generate synthetic data for training deep learning DRIVE networks, simulate sensors, and create robust world models for diverse scenarios.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in computer graphics, computer vision, autonomous driving, sensor simulation, or related software engineering roles.
• Strong Python and C++ skills with production-quality Linux systems.
• Solid foundation in linear algebra, geometry, probability.
• Familiarity with synthetic data annotations, data formats, dataset curation, data augmentation, and evaluation workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build, implement, and optimize tools to generate synthetic data for training deep learning DRIVE networks.
• Develop sensor simulation workflows for lidar, radar, and cameras, with noise modeling and scene variation.
• Create Cosmos world models and controllable scenario generation for robust sim-to-real transfer.
• Establish dataset quality assessments and synthetic-real comparison procedures.
