Job summary

Power3 Solutions seeks a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Java/Spring Boot to architect new features, drive RESTful services, and guide teams through secure, scalable delivery. TS/SCI with MD poly clearance is required. The role is based in Hanover, MD, with responsibilities spanning design, mentoring, and cross-team coordination.

You will lead design decisions, write technical documentation, and ensure high-quality, secure software delivery across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in computer engineering or related field; 16 years of software engineering experience may substitute for the degree.
• Security Clearance TS/SCI with MD polygraph is required.
• Expert in Java (17+) and the Spring Boot ecosystem; strong REST experience.

Responsibilities

• Architectural analysis and design to deconstruct complex requirements and create design documents.
• Technical shepherding: lead feature concept through development, testing, and deployment.
• Cross-team coordination with Systems Engineering and other teams to align on approach.
• Decompose designs into actionable tasks and mentor junior team members.
• Conduct rigorous merge request reviews to uphold code quality and security.
