Job summary

TekSynap is seeking a Software Developer - Senior to join our Mechanicsburg, PA team. The role blends sustainment-focused software development with hands-on design, coding, testing, and documentation to deliver scalable solutions for Federal Government programs.

You will apply APIs for low-code/no-code platforms, BPMN models, and large-scale DBMS to meet project milestones, working in a hybrid environment with a competitive benefits package and a salary range of $120,000–$150,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Ten years of relevant experience in sustainment lifecycle management.
• Expert knowledge of sustainment lifecycle activities for programs and projects.
• Experience with APIs to support low-code/no-code platforms.
• Experience using BPMN tools for process modeling.
• Experience developing application/process automation software from BPMN models.
• Experience in agile and hybrid low-code application development.
• Experience as an application programmer on large-scale DBMS.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the Sustainment Lead or sustainment-focused SME.
• Applies advanced sustainment lifecycle management expertise to support operations.
• Reviews requirements and design specs across finance, accounting, personnel, logistics, and contracts.
• Creates block diagrams and logic flowcharts for software design and development.
• Converts design specifications into functioning software solutions.
• Designs, develops, tests, troubleshoots, and refines software.
• Develops documentation for program-level and end-user audiences.
• Improves software performance to increase efficiency.
• Provides technical guidance to programmers to meet milestones.
• Creates or updates procedures addressing complex problems and system constraints.
