Job summary

Kleinfelder seeks a growth-oriented leader to head our Survey/Geospatial teams in Dallas or San Antonio, Texas. You will provide professional supervision as an RPLS and oversee project QA/QC across multi-disciplinary surveying projects.

As Program Manager, you will coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and Kleinfelder staff, guiding project delivery and pursuing business development opportunities to secure work for the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in surveying or equivalent.
• RPLS actively practicing in Texas required.
• 10+ years of progressive survey project management experience in residential/commercial land development, transportation, and public works.
• Experience with client management, proposal preparation, proactive staff utilization and progress reporting.
• Experience with boundary determinations, legal descriptions, geodetic and plane survey calculations, and geospatial deliverables QA.
• Experience with survey computations and platting using AutoCAD Civil 3D, OpenRoads, and ArcGIS; field experience with GPS, Terrestrial LiDAR, UAS and conventional field equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the surveying/geomatics group (field and office) across multi-discipline projects.
• Initiate and maintain contact with government agencies and partner companies.
• Plan, organize, and supervise survey crews, project managers, technicians, and staff.
• Administer contracts, manage projects, and coordinate assignments.
• Schedule work to meet completion dates; develop surveying projects with novel approaches.
• Oversee invoicing, staff utilization, and revenue goals for the division.
• Collaborate with leaders to market and develop business for the firm.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety.
