Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of CAD Technician experience.
• Associate’s degree or technical certificate in drafting or surveying.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Experience with Leica Captivate.
• Experience preparing ALTA/NSPS surveys and subdivision plats.
• Strong knowledge of boundary analysis and mapping standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and finalize survey drawings, plats, and mapping deliverables.
• Process field data from total stations, GPS, and laser scanning equipment.
• Perform deed research, plotting, interpretation, and boundary calculations.
• Ensure compliance with drafting standards across projects.
• Review QA/QC work by junior CAD technicians.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, surveyors, field crews, and clients.
• Maintain organized digital project files and templates.
• Assist in developing and maintaining CAD standards, libraries, and workflows.
• Support project scheduling and help meet production deadlines.
