Broward Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist for the Coral Springs area to provide complex technical support during surgical patient care under RN supervision. This full-time, first-shift role offers a $15k sign-on bonus and requires 1 year of relevant experience, a high school diploma or GED, and certified technologist credentials.

BLS certification is required. Position responsibilities include adherence to hospital standards, preparation of instruments, and assisting in patient care

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of Surgical Technologist experience required.
• Certified Surgical Technologist credential required.
• American Heart or Red Cross BLS current.

Responsabilités

• Provide complex technical support during nursing care of the surgical patient.
• Adhere to hospital and department standards of practice and policies.
• Assist in maintaining sterile technique and equipment readiness to ensure efficient department services.

Summary

Provides complex technical support during nursing care of the surgical patient for all specialties under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. Adheres to the standards of practice and policies of the hospital and the department in order to ensure effective department services.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED
• Graduate of an approved technical/vocational program for surgical technicians.

Experience

• Minimum of one year of Surgical Technologist experience required
