Qualifikationen

• MD/DO or equivalent degree.
• Board-certified in surgery.
• Minimum five years of post-fellowship transplant surgery experience.
• Must meet OPTN/UNOS certification for primary liver transplant physician.
• Licensed Physician in Tennessee.

Aufgaben

• Lead and grow the liver transplant program while ensuring compliance with UNOS and OPTN bylaws.
• Oversee evaluation of pre-transplant candidates, donor selection, waitlist maintenance and post-transplant care.
• Expand living donor programs and broaden program reach in the Transplant Institute.
• Foster community and internal partnerships to improve patient outcomes and program growth.
• Participate in training of medical students, residents, and fellows; encourage clinical and translational research; supervise advanced practice providers.
