Qualifications

• Associate degree in Health Information Management or equivalent with ICD-10, HCPCS, CPT, and HCC knowledge.
• 5+ years professional coding experience including surgical procedures; 2+ years auditing/education.
• RHIT, RHIA, CCS, or CPC certification required.

Responsibilities

• Audit professional coders and providers for accuracy and compliance with CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, and guidelines.
• Provide feedback to improve documentation quality and coding accuracy.
• Develop and deliver targeted education based on audits and regulatory updates.
• Distribute analytical reports and support performance improvement activities.
• Maintain knowledge of laws, policies, and Trinity Health compliance.
