Job summary

Moog in Buffalo, NY seeks a Senior Supply Chain Specialist to manage procurement operations for Military Aftermarket projects, including Test Equipment, Tooling, and non-OEM parts. You will lead supplier selection, negotiate contracts, and ensure alignment with quality and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus at least five years of relevant Supply Chain/Procurement experience or an associate's degree plus at least ten years of experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate across all levels, including customers and suppliers, with PO placement and negotiations.
• Deep knowledge of procurement processes including PO placement, RFQ/RFP requirements, QA, and customer flow-downs.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawing requirements.
• Ability to understand and follow Supply Chain regulations/procedures.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adjust to shifting priorities to meet business needs.
• Ability to meet deadlines and commitments; travel <10%.

Senior Supply Specialist

Reporting To: Manager Sr., AG Strategic Sourcing

Work Schedule: Onsite - Buffalo, NY

Moog's Military Aircraft Group is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Specialist to support the material requirements of our Military Aftermarket Division. This role encompasses procurement and management of Test Equipment, Tooling, Non-OEM components, and Repair & Overhaul projects.

To be considered for this role, you would typically bring:

• Bachelor's degree in related field of study plus a minimum of five (5) years of relevant Supply Chain/Procurement experience OR associate's degree in related field of study plus a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant Supply Chain/Procurement experience
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, including customers and suppliers. This includes PO placement and leading negotiations with external customers or suppliers.
• Deep knowledge of procurement processes including but not limited to PO placement, RFQ/RFP requirements, quality assurance, customer flow-down requirements, parts scheduling, and management, DDMRP processes/inputs.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawing requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and follow Supply Chain regulations/procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments.
• Requires less than 10% travel.

As a Senior Supply Chain Specialist, you will:

• Serve as a liaison to address issues related to vendor payments and contractual matters.
• Generate and manage Purchase Order documentation in alignment with Government Compliance Checklist requirements, including order entry as needed.

Salary Range Transparency: Buffalo, NY $85,000.00-$115,000.00 Annually
