Job summary
Security Equipment Supply, Inc. (SES) seeks a Senior Supply Planner to own end-to-end supply planning for finished goods in a fast-moving CPG environment.
You’ll be the central link between demand, inventory health, supplier performance, and operations, driving cost-aware decisions. The role requires strong analytical skills, advanced Excel, ERP experience, and a readiness to improve planning tools while balancing risk and customer expectations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years in supply or production planning (CPG preferred).
- Strong Excel proficiency (advanced functions).
- Experience building dashboards, tools, and planning models.
- ERP and inventory management system experience required.
- APICS CPIM or CSCP preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end supply planning to ensure product availability across all channels.
- Create, manage, and adjust purchase and transfer orders with accuracy and urgency.
- Build strong vendor relationships and address performance issues promptly.
- Anticipate risk with long-lead items and develop contingency plans.
- Optimize inventory to prevent stockouts and reduce obsolescence.
- Analyze data trends and forecast signals to improve planning accuracy.
- Monitor KPIs and drive corrective actions.
- Own and evolve planning tools, dashboards, and processes.
- Lead cost-reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Travel occasionally to vendors for procurement and relationship-building.

This is a high-visibility, high-accountability position owning the end-to-end supply planning of finished goods across a complex, fast-moving CPG environment. We need someone who gets up to speed quickly, thinks ahead, and proactively drives solutions—not someone who waits for direction.
You will be the central link between demand, inventory health, supplier performance, and operational readiness. This role requires a sharp mind, strong analytical capability, and a business-first approach to balancing cost, supply risk, and customer expectations.
- Lead supply planning from start to finish, ensuring product availability across all channels.
- Create, manage, and adjust purchase and transfer orders with accuracy and urgency.
- Build strong vendor relationships and confront performance issues professionally and promptly.

- Optimize inventory to prevent stockouts, minimize excess, and reduce obsolescence.
