Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a senior Program Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain initiatives, including inventory management and software-enabled delivery plans. You will coordinate with product management, engineering, and operations to ensure on-time, within-scope execution across multiple sites.

The role requires 7+ years of program management experience in manufacturing or logistics, a strong grasp of Agile methodologies, and proven ability to align cross-functional teams around common goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, supply chain, business, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in program management or similar roles within supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing environments.
  • Experience working with software engineering teams, participating in Agile or similar methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and drive end-to-end adopted solutions and implementation plans to revolutionize inventory management within the supply chain org.
  • Drive Inventory Control Operations priorities and are responsible for efficiency improvements to weekly throughput metrics in order to make Inventory Quality world class.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to get requirements and then partner with product management and software engineering teams to develop and manage comprehensive software development plans for supply chain initiatives, ensuring scope, schedules, and resources are aligned.
  • Bring structure and organization to the Inventory program through clear documentation, tracking of milestones, risk management, and proactive communication.
  • Partner with Product Managers, Supply Chain Operations, and Enterprise Technology teams to translate business requirements into clear, executable technical deliverables.
  • Identify and resolve program risks, impediments, and cross-team dependencies proactively to ensure on-time delivery of software solutions.
  • Experience working directly with Operators in the field.
  • Track key metrics and program progress, providing transparent status updates and driving accountability among team members and stakeholders.
  • Cultivate a continuous improvement mindset across engineering and operations teams, seeking opportunities to enhance development efficiency, software quality, and team collaboration.
  • Maintain strong relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, acting as a bridge to ensure clarity around goals, commitments, and progress.

This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

Location

Seattle, WA, Huntsville, AL or Space Coast, FL (relocation assistance provided)

Travel

Some travel may be required to visit Blue Origin warehouse or operations sites (<10%).

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, supply chain, business, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 7+ years of experience in program management or similar roles within supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and manage detailed program plans, coordinate cross-functional teams, and deliver complex projects.
  • Experience working with software engineering teams, participating in Agile or similar methodologies.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to drive alignment across multiple teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with supply chain software systems (e.g., inventory/warehouse management, procurement, or transportation/logistics platforms).
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Experience with software project management tools, Agile frameworks, and technical documentation.
  • Track record of delivering programs in fast-paced, high-growth, or complex operational environments.
  • Skilled at managing competing priorities and change in dynamic settings.
Base Pay Range for:

WA applicants is $124,476.00 - $174,265.35 Other site ranges may differ.
