Amazon’s Global Supply Chain team seeks a Senior Supply Chain Operations Manager within the Supply Chain Innovation Org to shape inbound design, inventory flow, and fulfillment network strategies across DCs, transport, and storage. This is a high impact role influencing a core part of Amazon's network design.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience.
  • 5+ years of supply chain experience.
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree

  • Partner with stakeholders from Supply Chain, Product, Operations, BI, and Finance to evaluate new initiatives; evolve the process into a highly automated and structured approach

  • Participate in leadership discussions on inbound vision and strategy; influence organizational-level decisions and align roadmaps to deliver the vision

Amazon’s Global Supply Chain team is looking for a leader to join our team as a Senior Supply Chain Operations Manager within the Supply Chain Innovation Org. The position plays an important role in shaping the future of Amazon's inbound supply chain designs and strategies, ensuring a synchronized view of inventory flow, transportation, storage and fulfillment network, and the capacity and capabilities designed to facilitate them all. This is a high impact role with an opportunity to influence one of the most high visibility and high impact areas.

Key job responsibilities

About The Team

Supply Chain Innovation (SCI) identify, evaluate, and lead Inbound Supply Chain initiatives, and scale them to improve end to end cost, speed, and network resiliency. For initiatives with high impact and broad scope with no clear line of ownership, we provide leadership to develop, trial, and scale solutions to full network implementation

Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience
  • 5+ years of supply chain experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Master's degree, or MBA in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
