Qualifications

  • Automated inventory management experience.
  • Texas Driver's License Class C required.

Responsibilities

  • Expedite and coordinate product deliveries to Parkland.
  • Maintain an asset expediting database for inbound product.
  • Coordinate testing, inspection, assembly and trade-ins with end users and departments.
  • Assist Asset Supervisor in dock bay usage for inbound deliveries.
  • Verify products moving through receiving area and contents against packing slips.
  • Ensure documentation (PO #) before receipt in ERP and asset mgmt systems.
  • Move assets to testing areas with Clinical Eng., IT and others.
  • Maintain asset management system for tagging, location, and counts.
  • Provide cross-training on asset processes.
  • Oversee Asset Management Technician I as required.
  • Complete KPI documentation daily/weekly/monthly.
  • Participate in special projects and leadership initiatives.

## Senior Supply Chain Logistics TechnicianApplylocations: Distribution Centertime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Yesterdayjob requisition id: 989433**Senior Supply Chain Logistics Technician****PRIMARY PURPOSE** Responsible for performing a variety of asset management, inventory, and reporting duties to ensure Parkland assets are tracked through the entire cradle-to-grave process. **MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS** **Education*** Associate Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred.**Experience*** Must have six (6) years of supply chain experience.* Must have two (2) years of asset management or inventory control experience.* Must have experience using barcode or RFID hand scanners.* Must have automated inventory management experience.**Equivalent Education and/or Experience*** May have an equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of specific education and/or experience as stated above.**Certification/Registration/Licensure*** Texas Driver's License Class C required.**Skills or Special Abilities*** Must demonstrate proficiency in operating a PC. Proficiency in applications such as Lawson, Asset Management systems and Microsoft Office (Access, Word, Excel, Outlook)* The employee must have the ability to learn other computer software programs as required by assigned tasks.* Understanding of medical terminology preferred.**Responsibilities*** Responsible for expediting and coordinating product deliveries to Parkland. Maintains an asset expediting database for identified inbound product and coordinates delivery, testing, inspection, assembly and trade-ins with end users and intermediate departments. Works closely with Purchasing and Contracts to resolve pre-delivery issues with product or purchase orders (PO). Assist Asset Supervisor in assigning usage of dock bays for inbound deliveries.* Verifies all products moving through the receiving area. Verifies contents of packages against packing slips and ensures product has proper documentation (PO #) prior to receipt in ERP and asset management systems. Ensures products received accurately reflect the products ordered. Work with Clinical Engineering, Supply Chain, IT and other departments to ensure assets are moved to testing areas prior to distribution and are staged in proper areas.* Coordinates, updates, and maintains the asset management system to track new and existing capital and non-capital assets including asset identification tagging, location identification, and physical count. Maintains accurate records on all new purchases and existing assets.* Provides cross-training to relevant staff in relation to asset processes and procedures as required. Oversees the work of the Asset Management Technician I as required.* Completes daily/weekly/monthly documentation and reporting of Key Performance Indicators for all assigned activities.* Performs other duties or participates in special projects as assigned, including, but not limited to, leading projects, assisting customers and co-workers as needed or requested by leadership.**Job Accountabilities*** Identifies ways to improve work processes and improve customer satisfaction. Makes recommendations to supervisor, implements, and monitors results as appropriate in support of the overall goals of the department and Parkland.* Stays abreast of the latest developments, advancements, and trends in the field by attending seminars/workshops, reading professional journals, actively participating in professional organizations, and/or maintaining certification or licensure.
