Job summary

Four Hands, based in Austin, TX, seeks a Senior Analyst to translate complex planning questions into quantitative models and actionable insights for the supply chain. The role focuses on forecasting, scenario planning, and data-driven decision support.

You will design forecasting tools, build scenario-planning applications, and partner with data engineering, BI, and operations to improve forecasting accuracy, inventory investment, and service levels as the company scales.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in supply chain analytics, planning operations or a data-focused role.
• Demonstrated ability to build forecasting tools, scenario planners, and dashboards.
• Strong SQL skills; comfortable extracting and transforming data from enterprise systems.
• Solid understanding of MRP, lifecycle management, demand planning, and safety stock.
• Ability to work in a fast-moving environment and translate problems into structured analytics.
• Strong communication skills; able to present complex findings to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and build forecasting tools translating demand signals into planning outputs.
• Develop scenario planning applications to model supply and inventory outcomes.
• Interpret product lifecycle complexity to identify gaps in planning coverage.
• Build analytical frameworks and data models to support reengineered processes.
• Partner with supply chain planning to understand decisions and friction points.
• Support MRP reengineering with requirements, data validation, and tests.
• Develop forecasting methodologies and measurement frameworks with back-testing.
• Build inventory and supply simulations for replenishment and allocation.
• Automate planning tasks to free up analysts for higher-judgment work.
• Translate business rules into technical requirements with cross-functional teams.
