Job summary

Medtronic plc in the United States is hiring a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to lead supplier transfers, qualification activities, and product acceptance across the design transfer lifecycle. The role is onsite at least four days per week in Mounds View, MN, with occasional travel to supplier sites.

You will define qualification strategies, review changes, and drive PPAP/ASL activities while collaborating with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure compliant, high-quality medical

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a technical field with 4+ years in a regulated industry.
• Or advanced degree with 2+ years in a regulated industry.
• PhD also acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Define component qualification strategies, including PPAP requirements, qualification plans, control plans, and release readiness.
• Execute supplier product qualification activities to ensure suppliers deliver conforming products and materials.
• Provide quality engineering guidance and compliance oversight for supplier activities throughout the product lifecycle.
• Develop and execute product acceptance strategies, sampling plans, and associated test method validation at suppliers.
• Review and approve engineering changes, test methods, and lifecycle deliverables.
• Partner with suppliers and cross-functional teams on supplier transfers, process improvements, and corrective actions.
