Job summary

Waters is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to oversee supplier quality in a regulated manufacturing environment. You will ensure compliance with FDA/ISO, support new product development, and maintain design history records. The role emphasizes on-site collaboration with multiple suppliers and cross-functional teams in Milpitas.

Requirements include a B.S./B.A. in engineering or science, 3+ years in supplier quality, Six Sigma Green Belt or ASQ certification, and travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• B.S./B.A. in engineering or science.
• 3+ years of supplier quality in manufacturing in an FDA/ISO environment.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or ASQ Quality Engineer or equivalent; Black Belt preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and quality oversight for key suppliers to meet Waters Quality, Regulatory and Industry standards.
• Drive and support new product development and sustaining activities in supplier management with proper design control documentation.
• Provide quality support for supplier qualification, approvals, and lifecycle documentation.
• Support Field Corrective Actions when needed.
• Facilitate and partner with suppliers to develop strong business and quality relationships.
• Establish initiatives to continuously improve Supplier Quality Management Systems.
