Job summary

Becton, Dickinson, and Company (BD) is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure robust materials, processes and systems in a regulated manufacturing environment. You will lead root-cause investigations, CAPA, supplier audits, and change-management activities, applying QA tools to improve supplier performance and minimize risk across BD's operations.

Based in USA TX - El Paso, this full‑time role offers exposure to FDA/ISO compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 5 years Supplier Quality and/or Supplier Development.
• Understanding of 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, and ISO 14971 requirements.
• Prior Supplier Quality experience in a manufacturing plant or technical background.
• Working experience in GMP regulated environments preferred (medical device, pharma).
• Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing principles and practices, and procedures.
• Direct experience in plant and/or supplier GMP auditing.
• Broad experience with quality systems, including validation, non-conformance, CAPA/SCAR and investigations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with suppliers and partners to ensure robust materials, products, processes and systems.
• Support internal and supplier root cause investigations and CAPA.
• Drive corrective actions for supplier processes through true root cause analysis and CAPA/SCAR.
• Plan, execute, report and follow-up on supplier quality system audits.
• Lead supplier-related projects with limited supervision.
