Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Massachusetts seeks a Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer to lead supplier quality strategies across product development through sustaining operations. You will drive CAPAs, design changes, and qualification best practices while engaging cross-functional teams to reduce defects and costs.

The role requires 5+ years in supplier quality, strong knowledge of quality tools (FMEA, DOE, APQP, PPAP), and experience with ISO9001/AS9100. Travel up to 30% is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing functional specifications and design verification plans.
• 5+ years in Supplier Quality.
• BS Degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with quality concepts/tools such as 8D, DOE, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA.
• Experience implementing quality engineering in development and NPI programs.
• Knowledge of ISO9001/AS9100.

Responsibilities

• Develop supplier quality engagement strategies from product development through sustaining operations.
• Lead supplier product qualification best practices and qualification documents.
• Engage in Product Development Process (PDP) and hardware development.
• Support design/manufacturing processes to reduce cost and risk.
• Scale supplier quality systems to reduce field defect rates.
• Drive CAPAs, improvements, and design changes.
• Identify failure trends; lead investigation and remediation.
• Coordinate supplier change requests and supplier development.
