PIP Global Safety is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to primarily support sites in the US on Supplier Performance issues and lead methodologies at multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience including healthcare and manufacturing, and expertise in quality tools such as PPAP and Six Sigma. This role involves training, mentoring, and driving supplier improvements effectively.

Job Responsibilities
Primarily support sites in US on all Supplier Performance issues
Lead the development and management of Supplier Quality Engineering methodology in multiple sites within region and suppliers globally
Train, mentor, and use Quality tools such as PPAP, APQP, Six Sigma to drive supplier improvement
Participate and lead NPI/ CE/ VE projects to drive cost savings and compliance to Quality requirements across regions
Drive Supplier Engineering metrics such as Cost of Poor Performance, Supplier PPM, Delivery (OTTR), Productivity and Lead Time as needed within the regional supply base to deliver results
Assist Sourcing and Supplier Engineering leadership in Supplier selection, verification, development of suppliers globally
Skills And Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of experience in SQE/SDE field with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment
Experience working in healthcare industry
Experience with ISO standards and supplier quality auditing
Must have demonstrated understanding of APQP and PPAP processes and implementation
Six Sigma expertise
Preferred Skills
Six Sigma Black Belt certification
Experience dealing in multisite environment and managing requirements of multiple stakeholders
Experience working with FDA Medical Devices and Drugs
Strong background in Statistical process control, DOE, capability analysis (Cp, Cpk)
