Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Roy, UT is seeking a Principal Supplier Mission Assurance Engineer (or Sr. Supplier Mission Assurance Engineer) to lead supplier quality programs and drive risk-based quality improvements across major suppliers.

This on-site role requires up to 50% travel, deep knowledge of AS9100/ISO9100 standards, root cause analysis, and collaboration with suppliers and program teams throughout all lifecycle phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience or Master's with 3+ years or PhD with 1 year.
• Experience developing, planning, and implementing quality methods for procured items.
• Experience interfacing with suppliers, customers, teams, and management.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site major supplier surveillance.
• Ensure supplier product quality and contractual/regulatory compliance.
• Develop and implement supplier quality evaluation and control systems.
• Monitor supplier quality performance and drive root cause corrective actions.
• Coordinate supplier quality plans across all program phases and engagements.
