MonkeySports, Inc. seeks a Senior Supervisor to lead a high-performing retail team, partnering with the Store Manager to drive sales and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

You will coach associates, oversee daily operations, and advance the team from the sales floor, building a strong, guest-focused store culture. Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of retail leadership, strong coaching and communication skills, and comfort with POS and inventory processes.

Job Summary

Join MonkeySports and lead a high-performing retail team dedicated to helping athletes perform at their best. As a Senior Supervisor, you'll partner with the Store Manager to drive sales, coach associates, oversee daily operations, and create an exceptional customer experience. Essential Job Functions

Lead the Team

• Coach, motivate, and develop store associates.
• Help recruit, onboard, and train new team members.
• Provide ongoing performance feedback.
• Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service.
• Support product fittings, special orders, and complex sales.
• Help achieve sales goals through coaching and customer engagement.
• Ensure associates are knowledgeable about products and promotions.
• Monitor store performance throughout the day.

Support Store Operations

• Assist with scheduling and daily workforce planning.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure company policies and safety standards are followed.
• Ensure opening, closing, cash handling, and security procedures are consistently followed.
• Lead inventory counts and stock replenishment.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Receive, organize, and replenish merchandise to maintain an accurate and well-stocked sales floor.

Specialty Services

• Perform or oversee specialty equipment services including:
• Skate sharpening
• Ensure associates are properly trained.

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of retail leadership experience (Supervisor, Key Holder, Assistant Manager, or similar)
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to coach and motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced retail environment
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel occasionally to nearby store locations for training or business needs
• Experience with POS systems and inventory management
• Knowledge of hockey, baseball, softball, lacrosse, or goalie equipment is strongly preferred
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in sporting goods or specialty retail
• Personal experience with hockey, baseball, softball, lacrosse, or goalie equipment
• Experience training or mentoring retail associates

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
• Frequently bend, reach, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Perform repetitive movements including stocking, merchandising, and specialty equipment services
