Garney Construction is seeking a General Superintendent to lead field operations for Mission Critical and data center projects from our Nashville base with nationwide travel. You will recruit and mentor field leaders, establish execution standards, and drive safety and quality across multiple fronts.

The role focuses on developing scalable operations, coordinating multi-trade teams, and delivering complex schedules using CPM/Primavera P6. A relocation package is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 15+ years progressive construction field leadership.
• 7+ years as a Senior Superintendent or General Superintendent.
• Extensive underground utility construction experience.
• Experience leading large commercial/industrial or data center projects.
• Strong understanding of excavation, shoring, dewatering, testing, and sequencing.
• Willingness to travel.
• Experience coordinating multiple trades in schedule-driven environments.
• Experience with CPM schedules, Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations on large-scale Mission Critical and data center projects.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop Superintendents, Foremen, and craft professionals.
• Establish field execution standards, processes, and scheduling best practices.
• Drive safety, accountability, quality, and ownership across teams.
• Manage manpower, equipment, logistics, and production across fronts.
• Build relationships with owners, GC partners, and stakeholders.
• Lead pull-planning, phase planning, and schedule recovery to meet milestones.
• Develop and manage complex construction schedules and look-ahead plans.
• Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
