Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; GED acceptable.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of heavy civil construction experience with at least 2 years as a Superintendent.
• Experience in multiple trade disciplines preferred.
• OSHA 30 hour certification required (or plan to obtain within 6 months).
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize work to maximize crew productivity and meet schedule and financial goals.
• Supervise field managers and mentor crews; optimize staffing and equipment use.
• Review job cost with PM and field managers and implement adjustments.
• Uphold safety through Allan Myers Safety Program and proper PPE.
• Coordinate with Field Managers, other Superintendents, and customers to execute project plans.
• Inspect construction work to ensure quality standards are met.
