Job summary

Qualdoc is seeking a Senior Superintendent – Construction to oversee all on-site construction activities at the Leesburg, VA office with projects across Washington, DC and surrounding areas.

The role requires extensive field supervision experience, a strong safety focus, and the ability to manage subcontractors and field teams to deliver quality projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Construction Management or a similar field.
• Journeyman status in a building trade (e.g., Carpenter) with 20+ years of progressive responsibility supervising construction.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the construction industry with a commercial and/or institutional general contractor.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in government contracting preferred.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, email, and other software used in the construction industry.
• Must be able to lift and handle objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be fully mobile and capable of walking job sites and climbing ladders and stairs multiple times daily to inspect work, direct subcontractors and field forces, and ensure safety and quality control.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Current safety credentials, including OSHA 30 and First Aid and CPR.
• Current CQC certification issued by USACE/NAVFAC.
• U.S. citizenship required.
