Job summary

Balfour Beatty US is seeking a Senior Superintendent to join our large projects group in Dallas, TX. This role oversees all field operations, coordinating subcontractors and implementing the Safety/Zero Harm program on site.

You will share project budgeting with the Project Manager, participate in preconstruction, and ensure work is completed on time and within budget while adhering to company policies. Mentoring of Assistant Superintendents and field staff is included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Fifteen years or more of commercial construction field experience.
• Five years or more of direct supervisory experience related to subcontractor management.
• Previous or current commercial construction experience in a Superintendent role required.
• Ability to read plans and specs.
• Scheduling experience using software applications.

Summary

Balfour Beatty Construction is seeking a Senior Superintendent to join our large projects group in Dallas, TX. This individual will work on landmark projects in the DFW market.

The Senior Superintendent is responsible for all field operations, including the coordination of subcontractors’ work. This individual is responsible for all field activities associated with the project, including ultimate responsibility for implementation of the Safety/Zero Harm program for the job site, supervision of all field construction work by subcontractors and self-performed work. The Senior Superintendent shares responsibility with the Project Manager for developing the project budget, actively participating in the preconstruction phase, and ensuring that the project is built on time, within budget, and according to company policies and procedures. This individual also manages and mentors Assistant Superintendents and other field personnel.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
