Our crews travel from project to project, building critical power infrastructure from the ground up—once one substation is complete, we move on to the next.

Note: This role is subject to a maximum home-base-to-project distance due to safety and travel considerations. Candidates must be within a reasonable commuting/rotation distance of our Florida project sites. Additionally, we do not offer relocation assistance, so the individual would have to be willing to relocate to our territory **before** starting with us.

    • Circuit breakers (including SF6 breakers and gassing procedures)

    • Power transformers

    • Disconnect switches

    • Surge arresters

    • Insulators and bus systems

  • Perform switchgear installation across various manufacturers and configurations

  • Assist with protection & control equipment installation and wiring

  • Support and execute commissioning, testing, and energization activities

  • Perform retrofits, upgrades, and equipment changeouts on existing substations

  • Read and interpret prints, one-lines, schematics, and construction drawings

  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and job site protocols

  • Mentor and train junior technicians

  • (Preferred) Assist with crew leadership and field coordination

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in substation construction (above-grade work)

  • Strong working knowledge of high-voltage equipment installation

  • Experience with SF6 breakers (including handling and gas procedures)

  • Familiarity with substation drawings, schematics, and layouts

  • Experience with switchgear installation and testing

  • Willingness to travel throughout Florida for project assignments

  • Ability to work 4x10 schedule with overtime as needed

  • Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship

Preferred:

What We Offer

  • Consistent overtime opportunities

  • Comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision, etc.)

  • Travel-based project work with steady pipeline

  • Opportunity to grow into leadership roles

  • Work on large-scale, high-voltage infrastructure projects
