Qualifications

• 3 years of electrical engineering experience, consulting preferred.
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards such as NEC, NESC, IEEE, NEMA, and ANSI.
• Successful completion (i.e. passing) FE or EIT, or PE, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete protection & control design or physical design on various substation projects.
• Create/modify technical specifications for major equipment.
• Perform calculations such as DC battery sizing and AC load sizing.

Skills

Knowledge of AC/DC fundamentals

Understanding of three-phase power systems

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work methodically and analytically

Education

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering

Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
