Jacobs is seeking a Senior Substation Designer to deliver Protection & Control (P&C) and Physical Design packages for electrical utility, industrial, and data center substations. The power industry is evolving rapidly to support grid modernization, renewable energy integration, electrification, and the growing demand from industrial facilities and data centers. As a Senior Substation Designer, you will play a key role in delivering Protection & Control (P&C) and Physical Design packages for electrical utility, industrial, and data center substation projects.
Working closely with engineers, project managers, clients, and contractors, you will support the development of detailed design packages, coordinate multidisciplinary project activities, and contribute to the successful execution of projects from conceptual engineering through construction support and commissioning. You will also provide technical guidance to junior designers while helping maintain design quality, consistency, and compliance with client and industry standards.

The base salary range for this position is $110,600.00 to $145,200.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
