Qualifications

• Typically a minimum of 11 years related work experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical (SDS) and Inventor; knowledge of protection and controls drawings (AIS/GIS).
• Strong knowledge of engineering standards and document control processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance by utilizing standards, systems, and document control procedures.
• Review project requirements and determine correct format and contents of deliverables.
• Promote quality and ensure deliverables comply with project codes and standards.
• Perform design calculations, material quantities and estimates; use modeling/design software.
• Coordinate with design group personnel and may support field activities.
• Communicate project requirements, progress and schedules to stakeholders.
• Mentor and supervise engineering technicians, delegating work and giving feedback.
