Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Civil, or Ocean Engineering with 5+ years of engineering experience.
• Flexible and able to work autonomously or under direction.
• Strong MS Office or equivalent software skills required.
• Experience with CAD for creating solid models, drawings, and schematics.
• Experience with ANSYS, Autopipe, STAAD.Pro or similar for structural analysis.
• Experience with structural weldments, manifolds and distribution equipment.
• Familiar with industry codes (API 6A/17D, 17P, RP-2A, 2GEO, ASME B31.8/B31.3, etc.).
• Familiar with foundation design (mudmat or suction pile) is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills; ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Create manifold and distribution structural designs to meet project requirements.
• Define problems, drive analysis, and develop solutions.
• Assist with prototypes and validation testing.
• Review customer specifications and develop compliant designs.
• Review and check drawings for manufacture and client communication.
• Perform both order-of-magnitude and detailed design analysis.
• Produce and maintain installation, operation, and maintenance manuals.
• Produce accurate drawings of assemblies and components.
• Adhere to Company HSE policies and procedures.
• Share knowledge and champion best practices across the company.
• Support development of junior design personnel.
• Carry out all other duties as assigned.
