Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) seeks a Senior Analyst to support NAVSEA AUKUS activities, focusing on SSN-AUKUS design and programmatic tasks. You will collaborate with US/UK/Australia partners to advance submarine programs and provide strategic advisory and executive-level support.

The ideal candidate has 16+ years in U.S. Navy contexts, holds a Secret clearance, and can lead cross‑agency coordination in a hybrid Washington, DC area setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, or other relevant field.
• 16+ years of professional experience in USN operational, industrial, or acquisitions environments.
• Proven ability to navigate, coordinate, and communicate between government and private industry stakeholders.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft products, including SharePoint, Teams, Office, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Current DoD security clearance - minimum Secret, with ability to maintain it throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Develop executive-level briefings for SSN-AUKUS leadership and provide risk management, scheduling, and technical analysis support.
• Facilitate knowledge-exchange between U.S. and U.K. design/engineering communities for SSN-AUKUS objectives.
• Coordinate with U.S. Government stakeholders to align design, programmatic, and policy requirements for SSN-AUKUS.
• Support long-lead material procurement decisions and acquisition planning for SSN-AUKUS readiness.
