The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, over 20 years of construction management experience, and a PE registration in California. Competitive pay ranges from $85 to $105 per hour.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of construction management experience on heavy civil engineering projects.
• Caltrans experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Caltrans structures construction projects and their standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight and contract administration of construction projects.
• Ensure compliance with construction contracts and shop drawings.
• Prepare reports, opinions, and recommendations for review.
