Job summary

You will own the estimating process from takeoff to bid submission and work closely with operations to ensure project success.

The role requires 5+ years in heavy civil or structural construction, proficiency with Bluebeam, HCSS, or HeavyBid, and the ability to read complex plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of estimating experience in heavy civil or structural construction.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and structural drawings.
• Experience with takeoff and estimating software (Bluebeam, HCSS, HeavyBid or similar).
• Experience on DOT or public agency projects is a strong plus.
• Local candidates only and authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle estimating from takeoff to bid submission.
• Perform quantity takeoffs for concrete, rebar, formwork, and excavation.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors for bid analysis.
• Analyze labor, materials, equipment costs and production rates.
• Review plans, specs, geotechnical reports, and project risks.
• Support value engineering and cost-saving strategies.
• Prepare bid packaging and proposal submissions.
• Coordinate with project managers and field teams.
