Job summary

AtkinsRéalis seeks a Structures Design Leader for the Moving I-4 Forward program in Celebration, FL. This embedded, on-site role reports to the FDOT Corridors Program Office and requires a PE license with 10+ years post‑licensure; ABET‑accredited engineering degree; and strong leadership and client‑facing skills.

You will lead engineers and technicians, develop and evaluate reports, prepare specifications and plans, review work for technical accuracy, and manage scopes, budgets, and schedules

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in good standing with 10+ years post-licensure experience.
• Knowledge of federal/state/local codes and construction documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional engineering consultation in planning, design, and coordination of diverse projects.
• Develop and evaluate engineering reports, plans, and specification criteria.
• Coordinate with project team, including client communication and proposal coordination.
• Prepare specifications, drawings, and proposals; ensure plans and materials meet approvals.
• Meet with clients to determine objectives for executing scope.
• Review junior staff work for technical accuracy and provide guidance; perform QA/QC reviews.
