Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in structural steel project management within a fabrication/erection environment.
• Experience reading architectural and structural drawings.
• US Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with detailers to track drawing progress and obtain information from architects and engineers.
• Perform field measurements and coordinate with other trades, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Schedule production, material deliveries, and steel erection.
• Oversee erection activities, travel to job sites, and resolve field issues.
• Price, issue, and negotiate change orders with General Contractors, Construction Managers, and Owners.
• Work with accounting on job cost estimates and other financial matters.
• Prepare and issue project closeout documents.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and erection contractor relationships and capabilities.
