Job summary

Premier Global Links LLC is seeking an experienced Structural Senior Project Manager (PE) in Austin, TX to lead structural design, project delivery, and client development for complex building projects.

You will serve as Engineer of Record, manage multiple projects and teams, oversee QA/QC, and mentor engineers while advancing business development and relationships with architects, contractors and clients.

Premier Global Links LLC is recruiting on behalf of a confidential employer seeking an experienced Structural Senior Project Manager (PE) to lead structural engineering design, project delivery, and client development in Austin, TX. This role offers an opportunity to manage complex building projects, mentor engineering teams, oversee quality and technical standards, and contribute to business growth, with potential advancement into structural engineering department leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering projects from planning and design through construction.
• Serve as Engineer of Record for assigned projects, including complex structural engineering assignments.
• Oversee structural analysis, design, and preparation of construction documents.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, staffing, resources, and deliverables.
• Conduct and oversee quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) reviews.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and professional development for engineers.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, clients, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Apply applicable building codes and standards, including IBC, AISC, and ACI.
• Use structural engineering software and tools such as Revit, RAM Structural System, and RISA.
• Prepare and present structural engineering fee proposals.
• Develop new client relationships and strengthen existing partnerships.
• Support business development through networking, client outreach, and marketing activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering, with an emphasis on structures.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• At least 8 years of structural engineering design experience.
• Experience managing multiple structural engineering projects and teams.
• Strong experience with construction document production and QA/QC reviews.
• Knowledge of structural analysis, building codes, and engineering design standards.
• Strong project management, communication, client relationship, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Structural Engineer (SE) license.
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• Experience with Revit, RAM Structural System, RISA, or similar structural engineering software.
• Experience preparing fee proposals, developing client relationships, and supporting business development.
• Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to departmental growth.

Work Schedule

• Hybrid work arrangement based in Austin, TX.
• Office and remote work schedules will be discussed during the hiring process.
• Project-related meetings, site visits, and construction coordination may be required.
