Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a licensed Civil PE in California to lead structural design for residential projects. You will develop and document foundations, wood framing, and steel components, coordinating with architects and engineers to ensure fully coordinated, constructible designs.

The role requires BIM proficiency (Revit) and experience creating engineering tools and processes to speed up design and documentation. Collaboration with Field, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Design teams is essential.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Civil PE in California is required.
  • 8+ years of experience designing light-framed wood systems, architectural steel components (stairs/canopies), and foundations.
  • Experience with BIM systems such as Revit and creating tools/processes for an engineering group.
